Church Cleaner - helps clean the church
Ministry Purpose
The Martha Team helps keep our church clean and welcoming. This is an easy way to serve at 24 Church, but is also a fun time of fellowship each week with other men and women. Your ministry responsibilities include…
Requirements
- We ask that you serve 1-4 times per month. Schedules are flexible.
- For the safety of all children, complete and pass a volunteer
background check (we only check for sexually related crimes).
Service Expectations
- This is not a women-only club, both men and women are invited to
clean!
- Work quickly, efficiently and joyfully.
- Follow the prescribed weekly cleaning checklist.
- Make notes on items that need attention in the church (repairs,
replacements, etc.)
- Pray! Pray! Pray! Pray for the members, volunteers, and staff as
you clean thevarious rooms. Pray for the other volunteers as you
work together.
- Report concerns or ideas for improvement to the Ministry Team
Leader.
- Attend occasional Team meetings.
- If you will be unable to serve your assigned shift, please give ample
notice to your Team Leader.
Squeaky Clean
Keep in mind that a clean environment attracts and retains attendees. Not only does it create a visually appealing atmosphere, it lends to the overall health and sanitation of the church. Martha volunteers are ministering to the congregants in an “unseen” but completely visible manner.
