Ministry Purpose
Our Parking Team is an essential part of creating the 24 experience.  We want people to be drawn to 24 for a variety of reasons, but we especially want them to feel welcome and accepted.  The Parking Team is the very first ministry contact that people have with 24; we know from experience that, in the past, people have visited our church simply because of our Parking Ministry.

Requirements
- No experience is necessary to serve on this team, but you must be

  at least 16 years old.
- We ask that you serve 1-4 times per month and attend church

  during the opposite service.
- For the safety of all children, complete and pass a volunteer

background check (we only check for sexually related crimes).
- We are looking for volunteers who are attentive to safety, who can

coordinate logistics of parking, and who work with a warm smile

  and a waving hand.

Service Expectations
- Arrive 30 minutes before scheduled service time to:
check in and receive your volunteer badge

- pray that you will make an impact that morning for God’s Kingdom
report to assigned parking or street area(s)
- Pray! Pray! Pray! Pray for the people you greet – for their spiritual

growth, for them to plug into a church home, for them to build

strong relationships with other believers. Pray that they would feel

  welcome at our church.
- Use your personality! Dance, wear props (Mickey Mouse Hands,

  etc.), sing… Make people smile!
- Assist any attendees that may have disabilities, several children or

baby carriers or carrying large packages to arrive safely at the front

  doors.
- Report concerns or ideas for improvement to the Ministry Team

  Leader.
- Attend occasional Team meetings.

Keeping everyone safe

- Give a warm welcome, saying for example, "Good morning we're

so glad to see you this morning."
- If people look a little lost, show them the main entrance.
- Wave to each car, so they feel welcome.
- Point regular attendees and members to park in the grassy

areas, leaving the paved area for visitors, guests with special

needs, pregnant women and families with new babies.
- Always smile, (even if you are tired.)
