Commonly Asked Questions

Why a background Check?

This is a safety precaution.  We're not trying to get into all your business or anything, but we do want to take

the greatest care to ensure the safety of our children.  So we have a background check for all volunteers (and staff

members for that matter) to make sure everyone is on the up and up.

How do I begin serving in an area?

Fill out one of the forms in the seats at church and give us your information and the area in which you would like to serve.

Then we'll contact you and get you plugged in.

I've filled out one of those forms before and no one has called me, what's up?

Whoops!  Our bad!  Send an email to carissa.mcmaster@24church.com and let her know, she'll find out what happened.

In how many different areas can I serve?

It kind of depends on the area in which you are serving.  Some volunteer positions take a lot of work, and some take less

work.  For the most part we'd rather you volunteer in 2 different areas at most.  We don't want you to experience volunteer

burnout.

What if I don't really like the area in which I'm currently serving?

Let your Team Leader know and try serving in a different area.  It's no skin off our nose, we just want you to be fulfilled

in your service for God.
