Volunteer Encourager
Ministry Purpose
Volunteer Supporters help encourage the different ministry team leaders in their ministries. They do this by:
- connecting with them
- encouraging creativity and ownership in their ministry
- helping to brainstorm ideas and solve problems
- assist in finding new volunteers
- help relay the policies and procedures
- help follow up to make sure that requirements for volunteering have
been met
- help maintain security by assisting in volunteer check in and out on
Sunday mornings
- distribute the volunteer calendar each month
- help train Team Leaders to use and maintain the church database
software
Requirements
- For the safety of all children, complete a background check (we
only check for sexually related crimes)
- Undergo training for this position through Carissa McMaster
- Stay organized and punctual with church database assignments
- Maintain a cheerful and encouraging attitude with volunteers
- Pray for the volunteers with whom you interact weekly |
