HOW WE SERVE
As the sent people of God, we are seeking to let mission inform everything we do. We are always looking for ways to cooperate in the mission of God on local, national, and international levels. Below are the various missionaries, church plants, and missional ministries that 24 church leads or supports in some way.
Micro Churches (MCs) are the community groups at 24 church. Every year, all of our MCs prayerfully ask the Holy Spirit what people group He is sending them to reach. A people group could be: a neighborhood, an affinity group, a school, a ball team, etc. MCs then decide how they’re going to be on mission together to love this people group in word and deed.
Two or three times a year, our entire church participates in what we call Serve Sundays. On a Serve Sunday we hold one abbreviated Sunday Service and then everyone scatters to go and serve the Pleasant View Community through various mission projects (cleaning a local high school, visiting nursing homes, writing letters to missionaries, painting, prayer walking, etc.)
Twenty Four has a food pantry on campus for anyone in our community who may be struggling to buy groceries. We also work to keep a list of contact information for other ministries on hand so that we can help point people in the right direction if they need help or support in some other capacity. If you need help, please click the button below to email us.
Feed the Need
Once or twice a year, we give away a full semi-truck's worth of groceries from the Second Harvest Food Bank to anyone in our area who may have need. Our ability to give away this food is dependent upon grants from generous individuals. If you would like to help this ministry, please email us.
We have clothes ready for women, men and children. If you know someone in need of clothes, or if you are in need of clothing, we would love to hook you up!
